ROCKY TEX PRE MIX GRANULAR POLISHED PLASTER PRODUCT

Thick-layer mineral coating based on coarse-grained marble dust, long
-aged grassello, and special fillers and additives that allow the material to be spread
easily and the surface to be textured.

Good adhesion and filling power, so there is no need to prime dust- and grease-free surfaces or
plaster uneven or cracked surfaces.

Consumption approximately 1.5 kg per m2, depending on the texture used and the roughness of the substrate.

Waxing with Metal or Supreme Wax is a highly washable, durable, and stain- and abrasion-resistant system,
suitable for kitchens, bathrooms, and high-traffic areas.

You can even leave a smooth finish with 2 or 3 coats, like Marmorino.

Do not apply or store below 5ºC or above 35ºC.

Apply a first coat of Rocky Tex with a steel trowel and smooth the surface. Let dry for 8
to 24 hours.Apply a second, heavier coat with a steel trowel and create the fresh pattern/texture
as follows:

Option A) With woven effect float:

Immediately, with the surface still fresh, insert the prongs of the float into the fresh layer of
material, tapping and lightly twisting your wrist, and continue in the direction you've chosen using
this technique (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally). In this way, by overlapping the taps and twists of
the tool, the irregular, linear grains are created in the desired length and depth.

Once the textured area has set slightly (10 to 30 minutes depending on temperature and
humidity), go over the surface with the steel trowel to smooth and compact any non-grained areas
and remove any ridges or burrs from the edges of the grain or pattern. Let it dry completely for 8
to 24 hours.
