PRERPERATION
Preparation and coloring
Follow the steps below for optimal results.
We recommend pre-priming with BIOPRIM to prepare the wall, facilitate application, and ensure optimal anchoring and finish of the product.
Important: Stir the product well before applying to incorporate settled loads.
Gobi can be applied neutrally without coloring. Its finish is an elegant, soft cream. Coloring with OSAKA Essences 504, 521, 529, 533, 04, 05, and Series 100 yields soft colors.
Our Approach
Gobi
GOBI is a decorative limestone paint with a sand effect reminiscent of the winds of the Gobi Desert in a variety of shades. As a limestone product, it offers the benefits of an ancient raw material well known and used by all humanity. Furthermore, due to the carbonation effect of lime, it contributes to reducing CO2 emissions in our environment, improving the quality of life. The colors of this product are pastel, making it perfect not only for interiors but also for exteriors.
Quick and easy to apply with just one coat. Easily applied with a short-haired glove, flat brush, or spalter. Neutral base colorable with Essence. High abrasion resistance.
APPLICATION METHOD 1
Application with Spalter (flat brush or trowel)
This tool allows for quick application thanks to its width. The ergonomic handle prevents hand fatigue. Spread the product over the surface and brush to move and break up clumps of fillers, depending on how heavy or light you prefer them. Brush to conceal brush strokes if you want a smoother, more even finish. Stir the contents of the can occasionally during application to prevent the fillers from settling. Let dry for approximately 8 hours.
Optional protection
Depending on the type of wall, a coat of water repellent (satin) or high gloss varnish (glossy) may be recommended to protect the surface and increase the durability of the finish.
APPLICATION METHOD 2
Glove application
Apply in figure-eight motions to spread the product, then blend with the palm of your glove in all directions to even out the load and soften the effect. Stir the product in the container occasionally to prevent the sand from settling. Let dry for approximately 8 hours.
